Never mind winning the Championship or to win another League Cup, we are going for an Oscar at next year’s Academy Awards. Our latest effort in the cinematography department has resulted in a new video for the launch of our ‘Beautiful Kit’.
The new video features cameo appearances by Bradley Jones and Anthony McMahon and from the trailer you can see that McMahon produces a technique he is so used to these days in a Middlesbrough shirt. Has anyone ever seen a right-back perform a side on bicycle-kick? We certainly haven’t until now.

Take a look at the video here and let me know what category these two should be in when the Academy Awards are announced.
Brad Jones for ‘Actor in Supporting role’ or maybe Tony McMahon for ‘Actor in Leading role’. Personally I would give it the ‘Visual Effects’ Oscar – how did they get Jones to get a glove on the shot?! Only joking Bradley!

Like it Boro Boy. I must admit though I have seen Tony McMahon perform a volley like that in a reserve outing once. Many year ago. I like the way we have put two players in our kit launch video that have achieved 30 appearances between them last season. Where is Downing, Tuncay, Alves or Huth?! ha

What about Huth staying at the Riverside now we have Adidas on board? Maybe get Klinsman in as our number 2 now that Bing has been given the boot!

Interesting.. Tony M up top next season, might be better than Alves. I fear Huth will leave in the summer and as for Jurgen Alan, well there is more chance of Bing Crosby’s real name actually being Malcolm Crosby than Southgate getting a half decent no:2 in place for next season.
